"Woman Unbound” — Exclusive interview with Wild at Heart exhibition artist Wawi Navarroza

Through the clever use of bricolage and colorful photographic tableaux, photographic artist Wawi Navarrosa weaves together beautiful, painterly images. Utilizing the interiority of self-portraiture as her medium of choice, she employs mythological symbolism and archetypal imagery to convey both her own vulnerabilities, as well as the fierce, innate strength that exists in the heart of every woman. I would like to thank Wawi for sparing the time to talk with us as we explored the themes and motivations that lie at the core of her artistic mission.
